IBEW Local 1593 member Ronald Cordell has been awarded a cetificate and a pin to celebrate and acknowledge his 50 years as an IBEW Member. Ron is retired from Basin Electric TSM. Congratulations on this great achievement Ron!!!!
The Delegates at the recent ND AFL-CIO Convention in Grand Forks rallied to show their support of the locked out American Crystal Sugar workers. Pictured (below, left) is Brother Kevin Herrmann of IBEW Local 1593.
BNI held their annual Retiree Picnic September 11th at the Center, ND Park. It was well attended and everyone enjoyed the company, food and beautiful weather.

IBEW Local 1593 Golf Tournament - July 26, 2011
The IBEW Local 1593 Golf Tournament was held July 26, 2011 at Square Butte Creek Golf Course in Center, ND.
The weather was great with 35 golfers plus spectators attending the tournament.
1st Place Team - Duane Poitra, Dan Nelson and Blake Wilkens
2nd Place Team - Jared Borlaug, Kane Souther, Derrick Johnson and Simon Schmidt
3rd Place Team - Jordan Geiger, Chris Leier, Donavan Hagerott and Brandon Sailer

IBEW Local 1593 Picnic - June 23, 2011 at Beulah Riverside Park
The IBEW Local 1593 Picnic held June 23, 2011 at Beulah Riverside Park was well attended
with over 175 people enjoying the day. This year we had a "Show and Shine" car show which
went over well and we will repeat next year. Thanks to DGC for organizing this year's Picnic!!!
